Widmer Brothers Beer Sausages
4 to 6 of your favorite smoked sausages 1 1/2 bottles of Widmer Brothers Ale 1 medium yellow onion, diced 1 tbsp. garlic, chopped 1 tsp. whole caraway seed 1 cup water
Combine all ingredients in medium saucepan and bring to boil over high heat. Reduce heat. Place whole sausages in saucepan and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve with German style-ground mustard and sauerkraut. (Note: After simmering sausages may be grilled for several minutes for that nice summer-like flavor!)
